Summersville Regional Medical Center Previews New Emergency Room

In the facility's ongoing commitment to serving the needs of central West Virginia, Summersville Regional Medical Center gave community members a tour of the new emergency room facilities Friday. 

 

 
SMRC CEO Debbie Hill explained emergency room efficiency was a priority with the new design.  The expansion to eighteen examination rooms nearly doubles the capacity of the former ER.  In addition to the improved emergency room facility, a new entrance, new lab facilities and a transition to the facility's new name, Summersville Regional Medical Center were announced.
